After a horrific shunt at Montreal in 2007, Robert Kubica appears to be on track to return to F1. A hiatus that had him running WRC for several years after recovering from his injuries in F1, has him successfully concluding a rundown test with Williams according to Formula 1.

Kubia is being considered for the seat aside Lance Stroll for 2018. Robert is on a short list of drivers which includes Paul DiResta and current driver Filipe Massa according a report on Autosport.com.

Interesting note reported by Autosport is that Williams’ sponsor Martini is requiring one of its drivers be over 25 years old. Lance Stroll will be 18 years old at the start of the 2018 season. Kubica is 32.
