Just read a great piece on Kimi Räikkönen by Sam Smith for Wired. In his post, The Ants Are Still Dead, Sam describes how an outing with Kimi in a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, at a Ferrari hosted PR event, was akin to his owning an ant farm as a kid.

He goes on to discuss his take on how F1 has become a snooze fest as of late due to regulations, how amazing the Firorano track is, and a sidebar into the nostalgia that is Ferrari.

But what I loved most about the piece is the point Sam and Kimi share a fleeting moment of sheer giddiness, and with it, shatter the rather stoic reputation of the kid from Finland.

It’s a fun couple of minutes all racing fans will enjoy.
